MEDICAL EXEMPTION - Immunizations
California state law requires up-to-date measles, mumps, rubella, HepatitisB, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, varicella, and polio immunizations for all students. Exemption for medical reasons must be completed through the California Immunization Registry by the student's medical provider and meet current state guidelines. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the student being excluded from school - please visit CAIR-ME website.
Students MUST have all immunizations at the time of enrollment. Children behind on their required immunizations may be admitted conditionally if they are not currently due for any doses. See https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/Immunization/School/laws-conditional.aspx for further information on conditional admission.
