Important Dates for Incoming Granite Bay Students

Enrollment for the 2026-27

Enrollment is always open for students who move into GBHS boundaries. 

  • Follow the steps below to complete the online enrollment, please be sure to provide your student's transcript and progress grades with the enrollment application
  • Notify the GBHS Registrar (gbhsenrollment@rjuhsd.usthat this enrollment is for the upcoming school year.

Step 1: Verify Attendance Boundaries

Please use the School Locator to verify which school you are assigned to.  

Transfer Students (Inter or Intra) need RJUHSD approval before enrolling at Granite Bay.

Step 2: Documents Needed to Enroll

Gather the following REQUIRED documents to upload:

  • Proof of residence #1: Verification of Residence (Current rental Agreement, mortgage statement, property tax statement, Purchase Agreement)
  • Proof of residence #2: Current Utility Bill (Roseville Electric, PG&E or Water Bill) - Must contain Parent/Guardians legal name, resilience address and current statement date.
  • Current & complete Immunization Record (Print out from Dr. Office or portal, Blue Card from School signed by school nurse - yellow cards will NOT be accepted)
  • Parent/Guardian proof of identity - Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, Passport (They can not be expired)
  • Proof of student age (Birth Certificate, Baptism Certificate, or Passport)

Additional Documents Requested (if applicable):

  • Inter/Intra District Transfer Approval Letter from RJUHSD
  • Court documents (Restraining Order, Custody, Guardianship)
  • 504 plan IEP, special education documentation - Please obtain a current copy from your students school to upload.
  • Shared Residence Affidavit - "Shared Residence Affidavit" form is required if the family is living with a third party in our school boundaries.  The parent/guardian AND the owner/lessor/renter must provide copies of picture identification (current driver's license) and all paperwork outlined in the packet. All Shared Residencies are verified by Granite Bay High School Resource Officer.
  • Caregiver Affidavit documentation - if the student is living with someone other than their parent/legal guardian. A "Qualified Caregiver Affidavit" form is required if the student is not living with a parent.  Please provide any legal paperwork regarding custody and Caregiver must provide a copy of picture identification (current driver's license).  These situations require Administrative review before enrollment can occur. Please be aware that all enrollment under a Shared residence/ Caregiver affidavit are verified by our school resource officer through home visits and other methods of verification.

Email Confirmation

  • Please allow up to 10 business days for a response due to the high volume of 2026/2027 enrollment applications.
  • Applications will be processed in the order they are received. The school Registrar will contact you by email only. Once your registration has been reviewed, you will receive an email confirming that your enrollment is complete or indicating if any additional information or documents are needed.
  • Siblings of current students need to complete the same process.  Do not attempt to "add" your child to Home Link.

Course Selection

Courses are selected via Aeries/Homelink. 8th grade families are notified when the Aeries course selection window is open. The Registrar will contact you by email if your student needs to provide a PDF course selection. See the Counseling page for more information on incoming 9th grade and transfer student course selection and carefully read through the provided resource materials.
