Selection Criteria/How to Apply
NHS Criteria and Selection Process
The National Honor Society prides itself for evaluating a student as a whole and not solely looking at a GPA. The first and foremost aspect NHS considers is commitment to service. NHS wants students who will uphold its principles of selflessness and commitment towards others. Another tenet of NHS is leadership. The National Honor Society wants those who have proven they take initiative and are driven to make their current activities a success. Academics are also very important to the NHS as it wants some of the brightest individuals.
